Our history

After liquidation of the Krasnoyarsk Heavy Engineering Plant, a group of employees decided to create a machine-building enterprise with its own production facility and design bureau.

Based on the analysis of the activities of KrasTyazhMash, it was decided to build an industrial site of a new type.

The company was registered as OKB MIKRON LLC. The manufacturing facilities were located in rented premises at the address: 5 Yeniseiskiy Tract.

A land plot was chosen for the construction of a new plant in the Yemelyanovsky district, i.e. the 18th km of Glubokiy Obkhod.

The company staff reached a number of 50 employees.

Shipment of the first parts weighing over 24 tonnes.

OKB MIKRON became a part of the KANEX group, the Russian multi-industry holding company.

The first CNC machines were launched.

Successful pilot testing of the modernized VG-5M mine car. The work was carried out according to the technical design specification of the Norilsk Nickel MMC.

The construction of a machine-building complex began at the address: 18th km of Glubokiy Obkhod.

The first official visit of members of the government of the Krasnoyarsk Territory to the OKB MIKRON construction site.

The foundation is poured for the five-axis SCHAMANN HEAVYCUT-5.3 machining centre designed for all types of machining: milling, boring, turning, as well as teeth cutting.

Purchase of the super-heavy TITAN machine tool with a processing diameter of 16 m.

Production of titanium products using welding and machining started.

Participation in the Krasnoyarsk Economic Forum.

The first spaces of the new production site were put into operation. Indoor warehouse – 450 sq.m, open warehouse – 2,400 sq.m, K-1 production facility – 960 sq.m.

Visit of Viktor Tolokonsky, Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

Launch of the five-axis HEAVYCUT-5.3 processing centre.

Start of the project on the heat-wind power generation complex.

Visit of Aleksandr Uss, Interim Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, to the centre for heavy engineering under construction.

Batch production of 20 types of mine cars was launched.

A contract was signed for the purchase of a high-precision five-axis MAKINO D800Z processing centre.

A car fleet for passenger transportation was purchased.

A test site for mining equipment was launched.

A thermal furnace for processing large-sized welded products was purchased.

More than 3000 tons of finished products have been shipped in this year.

The production building K-1 was launched.

The high-precision five-axis machining center MAKINO D800Z was put into operation.

The Heavy Engineering Center was visited by the Chairman of the Government of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Yuri Lapshin, the Minister of Industry, Energy and Housing and Communal Services Yevgeny Afanasyev and the head of the city of Krasnoyarsk Sergey Eremin.

We celebrate 10 years of the company!

The largest dynamic product in the company’s history, the VRS-93-110M Car Dumper, was shipped to the customer.

The patented development of a modular ring gear was presented at the largest exhibitions in the Russian Federation, receiving a gold medal and recognition from leading industry experts.

OKB MICRON became a participant in the national project “Increasing Labor Productivity”.

The production and team completely moved to the site of the Heavy Engineering Center at the address Glubokiy Bypass of Krasnoyarsk, Avtodoroga, 18 km.

We received a license for the right to manufacture equipment for nuclear installations and opened up new areas of work, developing, manufacturing and testing equipment, parts, assemblies for the needs of the nuclear industry and the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

As part of cooperation with the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the TeRUS project was presented at the main economic event of the year in the Far East - VEF-2023.

The first span of the K-6 large machining shop was put into operation. The K-8 auxiliary production building is being prepared for commissioning. New machines and high-precision machining centers began operating in the K-7 building.

New product samples are being put into serial production - brake systems for mine hoisting machines of the MiTs-1 and MiTs-2 brands, rail-mining transport (freight-passenger trolley and passenger trolley VPG-12).
