THE COMPLETE DIE

The complete die is two steel plates with internal cavities assembled on guide columns; when aligned, they should form a casting cavity. The inner planes of contact are well grinded for a tight closure of the mold. The die is the part of the mold that has the cavity in which the outside of the casting is shaped. The die is bolted to a stationary part of the machine.
