THE LIFTING BEAM

A quick-release load-carrying attachment used on cranes to handle various types of loads. By design, it is an intermediate link between the crane hook and the load to be lifted. It is used on cranes to work with different types of cargo (long, bulky), for example, to transport a container or a building truss.
