MELT-DRAIN DEVICE

The melt-drain device is designed for dosing metal melt. The main parts of the device are: gate valve, melt supply channel, copper sleeve and spool. Reaching the desired melting temperature, the metal goes to the liquid aggregate state and by means of the preheating furnace it is dosed. Through the discharge spout of the furnace, the metal drains toward the vessel to be filled. The advantage of using the drain is to increase the accuracy of dosing the molten metal.
