Passenger diesel machine (MPD)

This passenger diesel MPD-10-750 machine is a self-propelled machine with a diesel-engine drive. It is intended for the passenger transportation on a rail track with a gage of 750 mm.

  The machine is made on a welded load frame, box-type structure, and has two wheelsets with one power-driven pair.

  The controls are located on both sides. It allows you to control the machine movement in two directions without impairing the field of view. 

  Eight entrance doors are located on both sides of the machine and have a sliding opening system.

  The machine interior is equipped with three pairs of plastic ergonomic seats with backs. Two more pairs of seats are located in the forward and rear cabs of the machine. 

  The machine is driven by a Deutz diesel engine, which is equipped with a two-stage exhaust control system: a catalyst and a bubbler tank.
