Wheelsets transportation platform

This wheelsets transportation platform consists of two main elements.

  The first element is a universal platform where the racks of various general and highly specialized directions can be installed. The second element is the rack itself, designed for transporting wheelsets. This universal platform is a frame structure which is located on two wheelsets and has buffers for link couplings on both sides.

  The rack for wheelsets made of low-alloy steel is installed on the platform.

  The design of the rack allows its transportation and installation on the platform, both empty and loaded. At the same time, there is access to any upper gearbox, which can be removed by means of a soft sling.

  For this universal platform there are clamps (or clutches) to ensure stability during self-transportation of the rack.
