Cable drum platform VP-1

The cable platform is designed for the transportation of cable coils.

The design provides for the installation of bobbins with a cable with a diameter of up to 1.2 m, a height of up to 1.4 m and a weight of up to 12 tons.

A carcass drum with a central axis installed in the middle of the platform allows the coil to be securely fixed on the platform and to easily rewind and wind the cable due to the installed roller bearings. To unify the elements used in the support device, a range of purchased products is used, which fully advises purchased wheelset products.

Considering the small mass of the transported cargo, there is no damping element in the platform, and the buffer device is a single structure with the trolley frame.

The use of a closed-type wheelset provides an increased service life and significantly reduces the time for maintenance of the trolley.
