«OKB MICRON» is working on the production of new trademark «MIC»

Until recently, the world leaders in the supply of brake systems outside of Russia were Sweden, Switzerland, and Germany. The only manufacturer of brake calipers available to a wide market was Svendborg Brakes (Denmark).

«OKB MICRON» together with JSC SMNU «Tsvetmetnaladka» (Yekaterinburg) developed an analogue of brake systems for mine lifting machines and manufactured the first prototypes of calipers with a clamping force of up to 89,700 N and 1,64,000 N. Tsvetmetnaladka JSC has developed a test bench to check the resource and technical characteristics of the new product. The prototypes have been successfully tested.

Brake systems for mine lifting machines managed to prove themselves at the MiningWorld Russia — 2022 exhibition, where the largest Russian industrial enterprises paid attention to the development. In the future, «OKB MICRON» plans to develop serial production of braking devices as an import substitution project.
