«OKB Micron» at MiningWorld Russia 2023

From April 25 to 27, the International Exhibition of Machinery and Equipment for Mining, Processing and Transportation of Minerals MiningWorld Russia 2023 was held in Moscow at the Crocus Expo IEC. 
368 domestic and foreign companies from 17 countries on an area of over 16,000 square meters presented their products in 11 thematic sections. The corporate stand of our company was adjacent to the stands of colleagues from China and Austria, representing mining equipment for mines.
OKB MICRON has been participating in the demonstration of its achievements for several years. The MiningWorld Russia 2023 exhibition has become the largest business platform for us, where together with Russian and foreign representatives of the mining industry we get acquainted with the latest machines, equipment, technologies and services for mining. We discuss strategic issues, build direct contacts with new partners. Last year we successfully demonstrated a modular gear ring.

This time the company surprised the participants and guests of the event with another development — hydraulic braking systems for mine lifting machines, including brake blocks — MiC-1 and MiC-2. They were developed as part of the import substitution program. In 2022, the calipers were successfully tested and put into mass production.

 "This is the second time we are participating in the MiningWorld Russia exhibition and we consider this platform very important for establishing relationships with new customers, for demonstrating our capabilities, positioning the company in the market. All the days of the exhibition, our team was busy negotiating. About 200 unique contacts have been collected, and now we have further work to do with them.

It should be noted that at the exhibition the companies showed genuine interest in the products of OKB MICRON, which has become even more relevant due to the departure of foreign enterprises. We are pleased with the participation and hope that our products will find a response from future partners," said Svetlana Groo, Head of Marketing.
