Heat treatment shop is launched

The heat treatment shop at the enterprise is getting ready for launch. In April, new electric chamber furnaces for hardening and tempering of products made of steel and various alloys, as well as a furnace that can be used for preheating of parts before stamping on a press started working here. The furnaces were installed and our employees were trained in the operation of the equipment by representatives of Sikron from St. Petersburg.

Five furnaces were purchased for the shop. Before putting the equipment into operation, the company's thermists demonstrated the hardening process of the first test pieces. The new equipment will reduce costs and time for heat treatment of products, increase labor productivity - up to 80 cars per month or 320 hardened wheel sets.
