On April 22, the Krasnoyarsk Economic Forum "Russian Economy: Agenda for 2017–2025" was finished. This year, it gathered more than 5,000 participants from 20 countries and 50 regions of Russia. Business community, state authorities and public organizations discussed the medium-term strategic priorities of the country's development as well as the implementation of modern management solutions.

For OKB Mikron, the space of the Krasnoyarsk Economic Forum has also been a traditional place for signing agreements important for the company's development. It is worth reminding that an agreement with the Government of the Krasnoyarsk Territory was signed last year that allowed receiving invaluable support from the administrative authorities in the implementation of our key project, the construction of the Centre for Heavy Engineering.

Today, this wonderful tradition has been carried on by signing a cooperation agreement with SUEK, significant for the company's development. It was signed by Dmitry Salov, CEO, on the part of OKB Mikron, and by Andrey Fedorov, CEO of SUEK-Krasnoyarsk, on the part of SUEK. This agreement regulates the key measures that will allow our companies to establish a reliable partnership. As for us, SUEK will be one of the largest customers in the region, and we, in turn, will supply machines and units developed and manufactured using the most advanced technologies.

In addition, today our exhibition stand was visited by D. G. Tsukanov, Deputy Director of the Regional Department of Industrial Policy of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia. Mr. Tsukanov appreciated the project significance, asked questions regarding the product range being manufactured and the production performance specifications. The interest from the federal authorities is natural and results from the fact that the enterprise of advanced heavy engineering will be the first to appear in Siberia over a long period.

The first conclusions are being drawn, however, it may be said right now that KEF does not lose its position even in the changing circumstances and continues to play an important role at the federal level. Over the three forum days, more than 100 events took place, including 65 panel discussions and brainstorming sessions. At the exhibition, products of 36 small and medium businesses were presented. According to V. A. Tolokonsky, Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, KEF once again confirmed its relevance and high interest in the discussed issues. Our company is delighted with the opportunity to take part in such a significant event and contribute to the development of the economy of our region and the entire country.
