MiningWorld Russia-2019 Industry Exhibition Results for Machinery Manufacturing KANEX Group

This year, the company had its exhibition stand stylized as a thickener – a piece of process equipment used in mineral processing. This area of activity is quite immature at KANEX (last year, the first project was implemented for the Kirov branch of Apatit JSC), and thus it was decided to draw the attention of visitors to the growing competencies of the group.

However, the major exposition attraction became wagons for underground rail haulage, developed by OKB MIKRON. In the so-called "heavy machinery area", industry professionals were able to find out the wide engineering capabilities of our enterprise. The smallest item with a volume of 2.5 m3 and the largest one with a volume of 11 m3 were presented. In addition, all interested visitors were able to see the legendary modernized wheel set in section.
The development serves for handling more ore (due to the increased body internal volume while maintaining overall dimensions) and requires lower maintenance costs (thanks to the volumetric hardening of a wheel rolling surface, improved bearing assembly design and lining of the angles). At the Norilsk Nickel mines, where these products are already applied, repair sites have been removed from the horizons, and the miners themselves claim that costs of maintaining cars have decreased by more than 5 times.
