The Krasnoyarsk Economic Forum "Russia: Strategy 2030" took place from 18 to 20 February 2016, supported by the Government of the Russian Federation. The KEF sites were visited by more than six thousand people from 28 countries and 60 regions of Russia. The key topic of KEF 2016 was focused on the country's development strategy in 2030 perspective.

The round tables and discussion panels were attended by Arkady Dvorkovich, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, Federal Ministers of the Russian Federation, Nikolai Rogozhkin, Plenipotentiary Representative of the President in the Siberian Federal District, regional leaders, parliamentarians, science and business representatives.

The potential of machine tool building and special-purposed equipment manufacturing was presented by Mikron Experimental Design Bureau (OKB Mikron) at its exhibition stand in the forum industrial section. It included titanium products, welded metal structures, spare parts for mining and mineral processing machinery.

At the open air venue, a VG-5M mine car was introduced and a newly designed wagon tipper was demonstrated. At the forum, the OKB Mikron plant under construction was introduced to the public for the first time, the models of K-6 and K-1 workshops were presented. The stand was met with great interest on the part of the event participants and the media.

During the forum, our stand was visited by representatives of Norilsk Nickel and Polyus-Zoloto, the OKB Mikron and KANEX Group key customers, as well as special guests, such as Viktor Tolokonsky, Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Nikolai Rogozhkin, Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Siberian Federal District, Anatoly Tsykalov, Minister of Industry, Energy and Trade of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
