Since 2019, specialists of the young machine tool repair company Metallotrushchy Stanki have been successfully carrying out major repairs, modernization, installation and maintenance of worn metalworking equipment of various types, restoring machine guides, electrical and hydraulic parts, and converting machines to automatic control.

Despite the fact that OKB MIKRON initially appeared in the machine repair business in order to restore and subsequently sell its own equipment that is not part of the technological chain of the enterprise, Metal-cutting Machines began to receive orders for repair and modernization of machines from other enterprises more often.

Today, 35 highly qualified design engineers, repairmen, and milling workers work with complex projects at Metal-Cutting Machines. The equipment modernization process takes from several months to several years.The reference list of projects completed by the company for enterprises and factories in Russia is being updated, and today they have 15 successfully repaired large-scale machines, each time significant changes are made to their designs. The number of new projects is growing, and now the company is working on a new task — the overhaul and modernization of mechanical and electrical parts of the boring machine Skoda W200 for PJSC Severstal. Work on it began in October last year, and it is planned to be completed before the summer of 2026.

The company is already ready to position itself independently in the Russian machine tool industry market. At the end of last year, the company also updated its corporate identity: the logo has changed, and a new website is being developed and updated. In the coming year, they set no less ambitious plans for themselves: to continue the modernization of the machine tool park for OKB MIKRON, to complete the modernization of the Schiess Froriep RF40 gear milling machine, the KZH9340 centerless lathe, the 630VH machining center for Uralmash and Uralvagonzavod plants, as well as to expand the customer base, increase production, increase the number of employees, organize a sales department and announce the company's capabilities to the whole country.
