Negotiations on possible cooperation continue with Andritz Hydro, the world's leading supplier of electromechanical equipment and services for hydroelectric power plants. In late October, the fourth meeting of the engineering group management with Austrian colleagues took place. The parties discussed mutual efforts in the power industry on the territory of the Russian Federation. In the context of cooperation, a possibility for hydroturbine parts to be manufactured at OKB MIKRON using the technologies of the world giant is in focus.

Andritz Hydro is the largest manufacturer of hydraulic equipment in the world, part of the Andritz AG group (incorporates metallurgical, pulp and paper industries). It operates in twenty countries. Over 170 years of existence, the company has manufactured over 30 thousand turbines with the rated capacity reaching 420 thousand MW.
