Installation of 100-tonne Crane

The OKB MIKRON technical management has been implementing this project for the last year and a half. As part of the task, not only the selection of equipment, the preparation of design and technological documentation are carried out, but also certification procedures to confirm the safe operation of super-heavy lifting mechanisms.

The crane structure is unique and has potential for development, based on various characteristics. When the machine tool installation and commissioning is completed, the crane and gantry rails will be dismantled. The Chief Engineer's department is planning to use the special-purpose crane in the framework of experimental-industrial operations.

Installation implied using of a crane manufactured by the German KATO with the lifting capacity of 75 tonnes and a GROVE truck-mounted crane manufactured in the USA, capable of moving 65 tonnes.

The installation of a 100-tonne crane was being carried out by our company's specialists for six hours on July 20, 2020.
