A delegation of the EuroSibEnergo technical experts visited the OKB MIKRON centre for heavy engineering under construction.
The visit was aimed at getting an insight into the MIKRON production facilities and output, as well as discussing the prospects for cooperation in the field of hydraulic power generation. The work of our company was appreciated by the EuroSibEnergo team. The delegation was satisfied with the high level of technology and staff competencies. The meeting was held where the OKB MIKRON representatives announced the company's plans.
This meeting finished with the invitation from our guests to visit the Krasnoyarsk Hydroelectric Power Plant (a subsidiary company of EuroSibEnergo).

A return visit to the Krasnoyarsk Hydroelectric Power Plant can be considered successful. The aspects of cooperation were discussed and it was proposed to consider urgent machining of the lower labyrinth ring of the hydroelectric generating set No. 5, which is currently on overhaul. The weight of the unit is 32,325 kg.
Our specialists quickly developed an engineering solution, followed by a commercial offer.

The treatment and assembly of the labyrinth ring with a diameter of 9,260 mm took place on the HEAVYCUT-5,3 machine located in K-1 engineering building, in the OKB MIKRON centre for heavy engineering under construction. For this purpose, a table was specially mounted. All work was carried out in turning-and-boring mode. After machining of the inner surface, the unit was turned and the flat surface was machined.
Thanks to the team work, the operations were carried out within the established 12-day period, and a week later, we received confirmation of successful installation of the labyrinth ring on the customer's site.
