Next Steps in Construction of Innovative OKB Mikron Centre for Heavy Engineering

At the construction site of the OKB Mikron (part of the KANEX group) manufacturing facility, the construction of the OKB Mikron innovative centre for heavy engineering is apace.

To date, the Heckert SZ 1.6 machine frames have been delivered to K-1 building. Installation and leveling is beginning with guide ways of 14.6 m in length. In K-1 building, the foundation reinforcement for the Ecocut 2.6/TDV machine continues.

It is worth reminding that preparations for the mining equipment testing ground began on the territory of the plant in late May. At the moment, installation of rail tracks for testing the manufactured mining equipment continues.

In addition, construction site preparations for the TITAN machine foundation (K-6) are in progress. The first soil level has already been excavated, the excavated volume amounting to 840 m3 (2,500 m³ in total).
