3 May 2018. Three Exhibitions in One Week

The week from 9 to 15 April turned out to be quite eventful for the KANEX group. We took part in three exhibitions at once:
— 11 to 14 April, GORPROMEXPO-2018 in Gostiny Dvor (Moscow);
— 10 to 11 April, Metallurgy. Mining 2018 (Norilsk);
— 12 to 14 April, Krasnoyarsk Economic Forum-2018 (Krasnoyarsk).

Each event was interesting and significant in its own way.

The National Mining Forum GORPROMEXPO-2018, the first International Exhibition Forum of Mining Industry, is a new event on the exhibition calendar, but has already attracted the professional community of manufacturers and consumers of equipment for mineral extraction, enrichment and processing. Despite the fact that the event was held for the first time, it involved a busy agenda, meetings with key industry players, discussion of the prospects for the mining industry development in Russia, held at round tables and congresses. The exhibition was attended by many leading industry specialists as well as representatives of ministries and departments responsible for its support and development. Denis Manturov, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, was engaged in the opening of the Metallurgy. Mining 2018 exhibition.

The Metallurgy. Mining 2018 exhibition is a key mining event the KANEX group also took part in for the first time. The north of the Krasnoyarsk Territory is very important to us, being one of the main regions for business activities of the Norilsk Nickel Mining and Metallurgical Company, our key customer. Various projects have been already implemented for its benefit, and our mutual work is going forward and developing. Therefore, the Norilsk exhibition, where we succeeded to communicate personally with the MMC employees, is significant for direct communication between our company's specialists and customer representatives.

The Krasnoyarsk Economic Forum-2018, about participation in which we reported earlier in the news, was held for the 15th time. Traditionally, the discussion covered all-Russian tactical minimum programmes and strategic maximum programmes, effected over the years. For us, this is an additional opportunity to present achievements and new projects over the past year, as well as to report on the OKB MIKRON machine tool plant for the production of special-purpose and mining equipment, being constructed in the Yemelyanovsky district of Krasnoyarsk.
