A gear ring is a part of a gear wheel that contains teeth of a certain size, which are adjacent to each other by means of the adjacent surface of the gear wheel.
Toothed gears are very often used in mechanisms containing drums. Such products are widely used in all kinds of industries, particularly in lifting and transporting devices.
By design, tooth rims can be solid or detachable, with external or internal meshing. Split external gear rims can be with machined and cast, unmachined teeth; by shape - with straight, beveled and chevroned teeth.
